Cooper is full of life and a gentle giant in the making. He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and as a non-speaker, frequently uses scenes to depict a situation or to tell me how he's feeling.
He's my tour guide on this journey and I'm constantly amazed at his intelligence and sense of humor.

I'm Lacey, and like many of you, I run on coffee and Jesus. My journey as a special needs mom has taught me that it really does take a village to raise a child. The most encouraging members of our village are those who are also walking the journey as special needs parents, which is why I wanted to create a space where we can uplift and encourage each other along the way.
Of all the hats I wear, "Mom" is my favorite.

Ice cream is our favorite. Pizza is a close second.
Cooper memorizes various scenes from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and navigates to them on his tablet to describe what's happening in real life.
